MY MARATHON STAY IN KUWAIT AND VOLUNTARILY RETIREMENT.

 

It is now 10 long years of my voluntarily retirement from Kuwait where I worked

for a lengthy period since I returned from Kuwait to my roots in Goa and since I left

K uwait for Goa for good. Since I returned to Goa I am living peacefully with normal

health though not perfect and that it is deteriorating as days go by is a big trauma,

however Inspite of failing health here and there I still feel that God has blessed me

with good health which is a big asset not only for me but for everyone when he is not

having.  However, so many friends and colleagues of ours are suffering for not having good

health while so many others at the tender age only dead and gone.  For this gratitude of God

I will never forget.

Earlier when I was a little younger in age and also weak in physical fitness and when I had no

issue with my health, I did not take serious care of my body neither externally nor internally

where all my body organs are  safely banked.  With all my Health hazards I am still surviving of course by the grace of God without Him nothing good will come.  I must thank my wife Fatima FOR assisting me to do my work at home. 

But how long will she take pressure of me? It Is very hard to look after a bed ridden patient who is needing round the clock attention. Many of my other unknown companions are sadly living as non-entities neglected by their nearest and dearest including their closest family members. It is a real pity to see some of them who are crying for attention from t\heir family members. They are now suffering because time has fooled them, it would have been better if they had to see their end on this planet instead of unending suffering.  But God has its own plans for which we have to surrender. They are constantly whispered in their ears by their children that they are making arrangement to shift them to Old Aged House that is Azilo which place is disliked by them, why them only? It is disliked by every one but when you attain the old age you lose your commanding power reaching to a level of non-entity and a source of taunt, humiliation, insults but there are others who love the life in an Old House and they prefer to spend their last days in the Azilos instead of their own houses which they built by giving their blood and sweat working tirelessly days and nights.

Inspite of citing my philosophies on this topic, when you attain the earlier unseen and also earlier experienced Old Age life, you must be ready for the disastrous life.  At momet it looks better that you be ready to bid Adieu  to this World.  But here again your age level is controlled by the same Almighty God where we have no role to play, it is in the  domain of God.  I am no doubt thankful to God for keeping me healthy and surviving while many of those who were with me during the last 70 + years as friends, relatives, colleagues etc, some of them are injured, others are crippled their limbs and hence bed ridden.

While some others afflicted with  some other deadly diseases.  While they are suffering  I am at least far While with the grace of God I am far better praying to God  to give them full recovery.

And God the Lord, I know my day is not far but Oh Lord the God, give me opportunity to

Spend my last days in peace.

THE BUSINESSMEN MUST PROVIDE THE LOCALS WITH THE JOBS. lV.

 

During the last Graham Sabah Meet in our Panchati Compound, there was one person  who raised the issue of not  getting employment for any of our villagers mainly from the unemployed list. It is good  that this very relevant issue has been raised but concerned persons looked to be dormant on this topic.  I feel again in the coming Graham Sabah Meet this issue has to be raised especially for the cause of locals and it must be told in louder voice that for the land that we give to all the entrepreneurs to start their businesses they must provide the jobs for our locals.  In our Panchayat there must be such crooks that they will demand benefit for them to keep this issue at the back like what  some local leaders asked and got the benefits from the Sinquerim Taj¸  eg Free meals for them and their family members twice or thrice a month plus so many other benefits.  These benefits  for the Panchayati members are like Chori and why this chori’s benefit should go only to those few ? These benefits includes  Shares of Taj as well.

 

Come on Candoicars, speak out now and now only and that too very loudly. Don’t indicate your thirst for my blood for raising this issue.  I found that the biggest crooks, biggest Chors are our Sarpanches and other Panch Members. The benefit of our village wealth must go to our villagers only AND NOT TO THE FEW CHORS IN THE PANCHAYAT.  And where are the local youth gone?  They if are sleeping THEN IT IS TIME FOR them to get up and fight for the people in the locality. Time is running fast and our Village enemies are in the Panchayat otherwise our village will disappear from this planet. We have chosen the wrong people to guide and support us but those who are elected by us are turning into ROSTAD.   You do not ACCEPT what they are doling and  when I was a member of our local youth, I used to terrify them by using not the “goondagiri”  but by doing intellectual dadagiri. During my youth time there were such rascal Sarpanches and other Panches that with my capacity physical  and intellectual  I Converted them into bloody idiots. You can do much more than what I did for those during my time and because I did that, our village is still suriving. You just imagine those Sarpanchas who  were after getting elected to Leg.Assembly after completing the first term they miserably failed to win the second term when they enjoyed so many benefits as reigning members of Leg. Assembly.  Such idiots what benefit they  can get to our village? So it  is time for the youth of Candolim to make their presence felt. These two ex Sarpanchas after they lost the Assembly election they stopped coming to participate in the Graham Sabah Meeting as if they are big,all balls, they are nothing, they are originally coming from scrap family background, these stupid people till a few hours before getting elected to the local Leg.Assmbly were nobody but once they were elected they started acting like Arabian Kings.  Nobody in our locality likes them because they are suffering from pride complex.   People like me “tankam ami martat xenxxx.  They say they are have voluntarily Retired  from the politics.  All lies, they are so ambitious that even if it takes one more century they will wait for their chances to get elected again.  But their chances are gone for- ever.  They are not Joseph Sequeira the Calangute Sarpanch who was defeated and came back after 5 years to reoccupy the seat of Sarpanch once  again. Because Joseph Sequeira is the real son of his real father he managed to come back.
