B M Viegas thanks for being so forward and straight on the tip point.I have often found questions raised on GWS activities for many years whose members seems dead and silent on the funds, activities, scholarships and even a small greetings. Why can't the members invest the one crore rupees in India or even in Kuwait.
I am looking for the day when as a child of a GWS member I will get a job opportunity through GWS. I missed a few points for their scholarship, but then I found out it was just a few thousand rupees divided for 6-8 high mark achivers, not enough for the books and snacks for a semester.
Can you forward this question to the Embassy and the NRI Minister in Goa and the NRI Head in DELHI also for redressal? Why can't A VERONICA FERNANDES through KRANTI raise this issue and get it concluded like so many other items he raised in Goa? Let me know your findings and your response to this email.
My mother is a member of GWS for long and the form is signed by a committee member who is still in Kuwait but I do not have the person's telephone number. And also my godfather is also a GWS member who was always supporting dances has nominated me for the GWS funds' generation income and also death benefits entitlements which they are proud of too of mentioning.
To all GWS Dev borem korum for thinking of my future, now that my parents are on the verge of going back by October. If anyone wishes to get a signature campaign towards their efforts, I am for it.
B M Viegas, how to get enrolled into your NRGOA. Can a teenager like me join in too, I have my own akama and am on training for computers. My parents say send this to all, but I am sending only to those whom I think might be helpful.
ROSY.
WHERE IS KUWAIT'S GWS FUND GONE?To: goa.kranti@gmail.com

Sub: Where is Kuwait's GWS Fund gone?
Hello Mr. Alex Wilson Coelho,
Hope you are doing fine at GWS with God's Blessings. Coming to your well wishes to GWS-Nairobi. What is the status of Goan Welfare Society, Kuwait headed by you ? Unity should begin at home. How many Goans in Kuwait are the members of GWS-Kuwait ? Only a handful. And if my information is correct, GWS-Kuwait has closed doors for new membership or at least in the past this was in practice ?And you say "....AND ASSIST THOSE IN NEED IN THE RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES". How much assistance is provided in Kuwait to the needy (excluding GWS-Kuwait members) ? We have Goan Football clubs in Kuwait and these clubs and some individuals give helping hand to such cases directly or indirectly. Football fraternit-"lian and herr Goenkar bava boin-nantlian kiteim adhar meuta amche needy Goenkarank" in Kuwait. GWS-Kuwait got lot of money (approx. Rs. 1 crore per hear say, not sure) accumulated, that too at the cost of ALL Goans in Kuwait as these same Goans participated/contributed in one way or the other to the successful and PROFITED events organsied by GWS. So the money which is with GWS belongs to ALL GOANS in Kuwait and who were in Kuwait. Please utilise this everbody's BLOOD money to some definit use/cause. Any moves at your end ? Or you are hoarding the money to grow and one fine day WHO KNOWS who will be the final beneficiary ? YOU REMEMBER, IN THE PAST I HAD CALLED FOR A NON-RESIDENT GOANS MEETING TO FORM 'NRGA'. YOU DID NOT TURN UP. Mr. Wilson you are good at SWEET words and at the same time you vomit "vikh", like what you mentioned in your recent post wishing Rene barretto.
