 Kuwait: October is the month for Breast Cancer Awareness. This is an initiative which began in October 1985 by major charities of the world to promote early detection of breast cancer. Delay in seeking medical attention can considerably reduce the chances of survival. Indian Women's Association (IWA) is deeply concerned and are initiating a campaign aimed at educating and creating awareness about early detection of this deadly disease. IWA and Indian Doctors forum, IDF (affiliated to KMA) has organized a team of experts to create an awareness program throughout the month of October, at a time and place convenient to the public. In this program, members of the community in major schools, colleges, and institutions will be informed and instructed about the importance of early recognition of breast cancer, focusing on technique of self examination and regular mammography. We are appealing to everyone to join hands with us in fighting this deadly disease.  Links:
