LUCK ALONE WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP 2010.

Thirty Two National Foot-ball Teams will vie for the supremacy of the coveted Golden Trophy known as FIFA World Cup played in South Africa – first time in African continent – during the whole one month starting from tomorrow 11th June 2010. Each National Team will be represented on the playing field by its Eleven National foot-ballers and they will do their best to come out victorious. Is the victory of any participating teams in the hands of Eleven Players only, however best and greatest foot-ballers they may be?

According to my assessment and also of many soccer experts, the greatest Brazilian World Cup squad of all time was that of 1982 and not the one that represented Brazil in 1970 with Pele as one its members. The great Brazilian soccer Maestro and Foot-ball artiste Tele Santana was the genius who coached all the genii of that 1982 Brazilian squad. They played best of soccer that one can play on this planet and one can enjoy, gaining victory after victory till they were knocked out in the crucial stage by the Paulo Rossi inspired Italy in a very thrilling encounter with the score 2-3, all the three goals of Italy coming from Paulo Rossi’s hat-trick while Brazilians scored thru their skipper Dr. Socrates and Falcao.

After their loss to Italy, Tele Santana was on tears, so too me and millions of Brazialian fans all around the globe including Italians who loved Brazilian entertaining and Samba type of soccer. Then when asked for his comment, Tele Santana spoke like a real philosopher saying ‘Brazil had everything to win this match and the Trophy except LUCK which denied Brazil its otherwise due victory'.

So, from the above philosophical statement of Tele Santana, one must admit that this year's World Cup will be won by the team having not only best players but also the team having best of LUCK. Which will be that best team having best of LUCK? Time alone will tell. Let us count the time from tomorrow.
