As per information received from organizers prominent teams from Kuwait taking part in this prestigious tournament are AVC –Kuwait, Don Bosco, Navelim Youth Center, Maroons, Veterans United, Real Betalbatim Football Club, Fahaheel Bros, DHL Football Club, SkyNet Raiders, Kuwait Goan Association, CRC Chinchinim, Big Boys, Indians FC, Friends Circle ,The English School, Domnic Savio, Panjim Goa and Flames.
From the U.A.E flies in Vanxim Divar, champions of Gulf Goans Cup 2010 and led by evergreen Bonnie Fernandes, and Aldona Football Club marshalled by Anthony.
The outstation teams will be arriving on the shores of Kuwait on 24th Feb 2011. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the organizers to house them in one of Kuwait's star hotels.
The tournament will be officiated by Indian Football Referees Association, the only professional Indian expatriate officiating body in Kuwait.
Real Betalbatim Football Club formed in the year 2010 by prominent Indian Expatriate football icons in Kuwait such as Rubin Fernandes, Derrick Gomindes, Teddy Pinto, Philip Ferrao and Vijay Gonsalves have created a niche amongst the entire Indian Expatriate football community here in Kuwait by becoming the 1st Indian Expatriate organization from Kuwait to organize an International event in Kuwait.

Kuwait: Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF) and all its affiliated member clubs hereby congratulate the State of Kuwait, on their auspicious and historic 20/50 occasions (Independence and Liberation), and as part of these celebrations are pleased to announce a friendly football match to be played between KIFF XI and MOH XI on Thursday, 17th February 2011(Public Holiday) at MOH ground, Shuwaikh.
The match will start at 6 pm sharp according to KIFF Sports Secretary Mr. Bernard Fernandes.
Both the teams are geared up to display an exciting game of football. MOH XI is a formidable team consisting of mostly Kuwaiti players. KIFF XI is a selection from the affiliated clubs and will represented by the following players announced by K.I.F.F President Mr. Fidelis Fernandes:
Britto Pereira(NYC), Guillermo Gomes(GOA), Ian D'Souza(Captain, GOA), Domnic Anthony(YRC), John Furtado(NYC), Godfrey Aguair(DHL), Terrence D'Costa(DHL), Duarte Ferrao(NYC), Roland Fernandes(DHL), Anil Thakuri(KGA), Bernard Pires(KGA), Anthony Cardozo(CRC), Vitorino Menezes(KGA), Kennedy Ferrao(GOA), Cruzedio Rodrigues(NYC), Martinho Gomes(Curtorcares), Jacob Dias(KGA), Jai John(YRC), Gabriel Fernandes(GOA) and Marcelino Pereira(Skynet).
Mr. Biju Varghese, Ex-Viva Kerala and currently coaching YRC Rising Stars has consented to be the chief coach and will be assisted by Mr. Americo Fernandes, Ex-Dempo and Goa National player and currently donning colours for Navelim YC, Kuwait.
Mr. Clifford Pinto is the Team Manager and Mr. Nicholas Rodrigues is the Asst. Team Manager of the KIFF XI.
The event will be compered by Ex-Salgaocar and Goa National player Gasper Crasto, who is also a freelance journalist and a versatile compere in Kuwait.
The match will be officiated by KIFF Referees.
KIFF has invited all its affiliates, supporters and fooball lovers to come and witness this great event. Kuwait: Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF) are pleased to announce that a Indian schools one day 7-aside football tournament will be held on 27th February 2011(Public Holiday) at MOH ground, Shuwaikh starting 7:00 am. The draw of the tournament will be held on Friday, 18th February 2011 at MOH ground, Shuwaikh at 9:00 am.
Following schools have confirmed their participation:
Carmel School Kheitan, Al Wataniya Indian Private School Fahaheel, Al Rashed Indian School Salmiya, Indian community School Salmiya/Kheitan, Indian Central School Abbasiya, Indian Public School Salmiya, Al Amal Indian School Salmiya, Indian Educational School Abbasiya, and United Indian School Abbasiya.
Any other Indian Schools interested in participating in the tournament are kindly requested to do so on or before 16th February 2011.
