INDIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION KUWAIT LEAGUE REPORT.

BIG BOYS WIN, DON BOSCO ORATORY DRUB INDIANS IN THE IFFK LEAGUE AT THE SALMIYA STADIUM

The perfect climatic conditions on Friday morning saw Indian expatriates enjoying the ongoing football league for the Indian Football Federation Rolling trophy organised by IFFK being held at the Salmiya Baladiya Football stadium on 8th April 2011.

In the first match experienced Veterans United took on the energetic Big Boys. Both the teams played cautious football with Big Boys being more incisive. Hardworking striker Zaheer put Big Boys in front in the first half of the match. Veterans United tried desperately to restore parity, but their forwards lacked the power and energy to find the net. The game ended in favour of Big Boys with the score being 1-0.

The second match saw title contenders Don Bosco Oratory (DBO) taking on Indians. DBO being the favourite to win the match started aggressively and were 2 goals up as early as in the first 5 minutes with Godfrey and Valenky scoring for DBO. Indians were stunned with their young goalkeeper fumbling at every ball collection in the initial stages. DBO never allowed Indians to come back in the match and scored two more through Godfrey and Savio making it 4-0 at half time. The second half was the repetition of the first with Indians being non existing in the match and DBO on the march and completed the mauling of Indians through Seby, Alex, Ratan and Godfrey completing his hattrick. The final score was 8-0 in favour of DBO.
The matches were officiated by Indian Football Federation (IFRA)
