Dear Antonio,
It
is with great pleasure that I congratulate you for such a honourable
narration of your life in Kuwait and for proudly leaving the country
which helped you become and fulfill such tremendous virtues in life!
I
take this opportunity to extend my sincere wishes to you as this is a
new beginning and I am sure you will not remain idle after stepping on
Goan soil for good!
Retirement is not the end, it's a new beginning.
The
big challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending
money. I’m sure you have already planned what you are going to do in
Goa. I am requesting you to specially focus on getting Dual Citizenship
for Goans with Portuguese passport.
Regards
Maria do Ceu

Three-and-half years turns to 35: thoughts on leaving Kuwait

When
I first came to Kuwait, my intention was to work here only for three
and half years or so, to make enough money and then return to my birth
place. But fortunately or unfortunately, and as destined, I instead had
to work in Kuwait for over three and half decades. It was not as
simple as it would appear, to make enough money to fulfill all your
obligations in just three and half years.
